This is the first I've seen on Motorcycles, This is how Mountain bike forks have been built for quite a while.

I have never heard of such a thing before. Looks like the future for front forks for dirt bikes.

There are some, smaller suspension builders that put Compression in one leg and Rebound in the other. I found this out while researching the company that did the susp. on my '00 RM.
